If you are looking for a healthy breakfast that is high in protein, this is the one for you.
It is simple to make and you can easily get creative by substituting different berries, nut milks, or nuts into the recipe.
Yield 4 servings 
1 cup uncooked quinoa
1 cup blueberries
½ cup water
Half a lemon, juiced
2 tsp chia seeds
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp coconut sugar 
¼ cup hemp seeds
½ cup chopped almonds or nut of choice
1 cup unsweetened macadamia nut milk
Maple syrup, optional
Cook quinoa per package directions. Once cooked remove from the heat.
Bring blueberries, water, lemon juice chia seeds, cinnamon, and coconut sugar to a simmer in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until it thickens just a bit.
In four small bowls divide up the ingredients by adding the cooked quinoa, sprinkle of hemp seeds, and top with almonds, a drizzle of macadamia nut milk, and a few spoonfuls of blueberry sauce. Drizzle with maple syrup if you want it a little sweeter.
