Did you know we all have superpowers? Guess what? We do! If you do not know what your superpowers are, ask some friends and family who you respect and trust what they think your strongest qualities are; in other words, your superpowers.
Your superpowers can be anything. Most often, they are something that comes easy to you, but to others may be difficult. It could be playing an instrument, public speaking, writing, self-confidence, etc. Once you understand and embrace your superpowers, you can use them to execute your vision.
Comparison can be your biggest hurdle. What is one of the last things you do before you go to bed at night? What is one of the first things you do when you wake up in the morning? Is it to grab your phone and start scrolling through social media? For many people, the answer is yes. Unfortunately, most people compare themselves to what others are doing and how others look on social media. Perhaps you may also be doing this throughout your day at work, when you are with friends, or when you are watching television. Comparing yourself to others is a habit that I would suggest you refrain from. What you need to do is to embrace who you are and your superpowers because no one has those exact strong qualities that you have.
Once you embrace your superpowers, you will begin to perform at your ultimate greatness. This ultimate greatness then attracts more ultimate greatness. Think of it like a snowball rolling down the hill, picking up speed, volume, and strength.
A while back, I asked some of my friends and family what they thought my strongest qualities are; in other words, my superpowers. Their responses were driven, confident, humble, balanced, well-spoken, etc. As I read through the letters I got back, I literally cried. The words that they used to describe me were exactly what I had always been striving to be. Unfortunately, I was not always in a spot in my life where I saw these qualities in myself. Now when I look in the mirror, I see these superpowers, and I am so proud of who I am. I want you to learn to do the same within yourself.
I challenge you to find out what your superpowers are. Then figure out what you are going to do with those powers. There is no right or wrong answer. You just need to tap into who you are and generate action. I believe we all have the power to create our lives. Don’t choose to create mediocracy; choose to create excellence!
