Lavender is one of my favorite flowers. Not only is it beautiful, but it smells lovely. It also has many medicinal properties. 
 
Lavender oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that can help minor burns and bug bites. It is also effective for fighting anti-fungal resistant infections. Lavender oil can also help with minor wound healing. 
 
Lavender helps support sleep by improving the body's melatonin levels. It is a perfect remedy to help you relax after a long or stressful day. Lavender oil and tea can assist with insomnia and restlessness. You can also try putting lavender in your bath water. A warm bath with lavender is a fantastic option right before bed. 
 
Lavender is easy to grow in most climates. But you can easily find lavender oil and teas in most grocery stores and shops. It is best to look for organic lavender. 
 
If you plan on using lavender oil on your skin, it is essential to dilute it with another oil such as almond, coconut, or jojoba.
